Remember my post about neighbors? Well, here we go again! A story just developing . . . . I thought telling my parents that Africa has trouble with transition was going to give them perspective, not more worry!
In order for mail to reach me, there are a few extra steps that may ensure a safer and successful journey:
1. Write **Air Mail** or **Par Avion** on anything, even if it is an envelope.
2. If you send something that can fit in a larger padded envelope, use it. Boxes have a lower success rate than envelopes.
3. The US Postal Service will not ship batteries internationally. Pack the batteries and then simply forget that you did when filling out the US Customs form.
